BassTheWolrd.com is giving away the Anytune app including In-Apps "Basic&Pro" worth 7 bucks. At the end in this video they show how to unlock the "BassTheWorld Edition"

This app is no joke, I've been using it for a couple of years and only give it back over my dead body :cautious:

I got Anytune on my Mac too, not cheap, but rocks! Take a look www.anytune.us

Check the comments under the video, it seem to be possible to get Anytune on iOS lower than 10, but unfortunately not the BassTheWorld version.

I copy/pasted the comment under the video for you:

"The Anytune BassTheWorld Edition is only available for iOS 11 and iOS 10 because Anytune is not compatible with iOS 9 or earlier! But there is a workaround to put Anytune Pro+ on an older iOS 9 or iOS 8 device. You have to gift it to yourself and then redeem the code and the App Store will load an earlier compatible version of Anytune Pro+ on your device. This is only possible with Anytune Pro+ ($14.99), because off course Apple doesn't allow you to gift a free app. This is how this works: 1.) Go to Anytune Pro+ in the App Store by clicking following link on your iOS device https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/anytune-pro/id478293637?mt=8&at=10lumq 2.) Now gift Anytune Pro+ to yourself. Meaning you are the recipient of your own gift. Please use an email address that you can receive on your device. Here how to gift an app in case you don't know how, check under "Gift an app or another item" at https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201783 3.) Open your email app and look for the iTunes Store email with you gift. In this email click on the REDEEM CODE button and follow the instructions, an earlier compatible version of Anytune Pro+ will install automatically by itself. DONE :) If you have any problems with this workaround please contact our support Invalid Link Removed and we will be happy to assist you. Hope that helps. If you do it please leave a reply if it worked for you :) Tks, Uli"

Has anybody tried this yet? Does this really work? A new student with an iPad 3 just walked in, I showed him Anytune and now he wants it bad. But he has iOS9 on his iPad. Please let me know if it works. Much thanks

$15 to try and it's an old version that will never be updated :( .

When I first got Anytune Pro+ about three years ago I had an older iPad with an iOS that was not supported with the Anytune version in the App Store. Their support helped me with instructions for older iOS back then, you just had to purchase it through iTunes on your desktop and then sync it to your iPad. Afterwards the App Store on your iOS device offered you an earlier compatible version of Anytune. That's what I did, but it is not possible no more because Apple removed the App Store from the iTunes desktop app last year. Now you can only get Apps on your iOS devices. They are criminals and want you to buy new devices. That's why I need to know if this new workaround works.

But I know for a fact that you get the latest version once you migrate to a newer device with a compatible iOS. Once I got my new iPad last year it automatically loaded the latest version of Anytune Pro+ when I restored my backup from the old iPad to my new iPad. Same on the iPhone, after getting a new phone I got the latest Anytune Pro+.

Anybody want to add anything to this thread? It’s been a couple years. I downloaded the free version years ago but haven’t really used it. However, from the video above it seems like I might save some time learning tunes with it. Just kind of wondering if this is still the best app or is there something new out there ? ..maybe better or cheaper?
