Aphex Bass Xciter Schematic?

A rather careless soundguy sent 48v of phantom power into my Aphex Bass Xciter on Saturday night, whilst the pedal was already connected to a 9v power supply. Result: fried Aphex. Does anyone have a schematic for this pedal? I've emailed Aphex, hopefully they'll help out soon. Any help would be much appreciated. I'm in Ireland so hope to get it fixed here. Thanks in advance.

That shouldn't have harmed your pedal. Are you sure there wasn't something else that damaged it?

Hey bassman1185 - thanks for the reply. Yep, I'm pretty sure. I was recording with the pedal all day right up to about 2 hours before the gig. Took the same pedalboard, same cables, everything - to the gig, plugged in and nothing. The only change was using the XLR with 48v on it. I've read that the pedal can take 48v but I can't find if also having it powered from a 9v supply at the same time will damage it or not. So far nothing back from Aphex. The bypass part of the pedal works fine - on the DI too - so at the very least I have a passive DI box to play with

Have you opened it up? It might be something obvious like some popped electrolytic capacitors.

Took the back plate off but because the pots and jacks are hardwired to the circuitboard all you see are the solder connections. Unless there's a part that looks burnt beyond recognition, I know I won't be able to tell what's up, so hoping I can get a schematic to pass on to my tech before taking the board out.

Now that you mention it - could I tell an electrolytic capacitor has popped just by looking at it?

Capicitors bulge outwards at the ends when blown (Someone correct me if I'm wrong)

hmmmmm -took everything apart but none of the capacitors look any different from the others. Any thing else to check for?

Diodes and other semiconductors. Resistors are pretty solid...it's really hard to kill them.

Plus, you'd SMELL a cooked resistor. oof!

Thanks guys -I'm beginning to think this was just bad timing with a dodgy part seeing as it was working fine a few hours before it got connected onstage. I can't see or smell anything out of place, so maybe it was just the pedal's time to go. Thanks for the input and suggestions everyone.
