Sorry if this is in the wrong forum. I'm a total audio noob and I rarely record myself. 90% of my playing is at home through a small ampeg or fender rumble amp, my vox headphone amp, or directly into my ipad with the Apogee Jam.
My question is- why does my tone sound so much better when playing through the Jam? Punchier, brighter, my attack is stronger, and my ghost notes and rhythmic tapping come through so much clearer. Can anyone explain why this would be the case?
