Are american men being feminized?

Not really. The OP was whiny sounding. So I noted that, how un-manly it was, and my dislike of all things whiny in general (there are, in fact, quite a few bands who I don't like mostly because the vocals sound like whining to me).
In my humblest of opinions, I think it is not men who are being femeinized, but women who are being masculated.

Absolutely. In this world of not keeping score and soccer games (because "everybody is a winner"), boys sporting pink from head to toe, computers raising our kids, and God only knows what else, I'm glad we just had a girl. At least if SHE'S girly I can live with it.

That is a very rage-filled post. it happened to both me and my friend, too at the same time...
I never realized there was a nation-wide conspiracy defining masculinity and forcing everyone to adhere to that definition. Jesus. I think what I'm seeing here is more vag-envy than anything else.
