I have a very simple method for taking any system to its maximum clarity and punch that will give close to pro results. No special equipment needed. Just your bass, amp and eq.
If there is interest I will write up a tutorial or shoot a video.
results as a good sound guy would give you but a method that can be applied at home in just 5 minutes.
I'm not talking about tone. I'm talking about balancing the frequency spectrum. Tonal shaping is applied afterward.My thoughts are that "maximum clarity and punch" is subjective, and also that a Hofner-with-flats guy will want different results than someone who plays a Stingray with rounds, but maybe you've taken these factors into account.
