Not everyone has a hpf. But they should. In my opinion it's one of the most valuable tools any low freq system can have, though a good variable q peq will work in a pinch.

I have a very simple method for taking any system to its maximum clarity and punch that will give close to pro results. No special equipment needed. Just your bass, amp and eq.
If there is interest I will write up a tutorial or shoot a video.
What I'm offering is similar results as a good sound guy would give you but a method that can be applied at home in just 5 minutes.

Thats exactly what this is intended for. Some of these guys seem to think it's about how to turn some knobs when in fact it's how to tune to the room on the fly.
