The reason I suggested he gets his daddy to show him how it's done is because I noticed he placed him as one of his biggest influences. (this lead me to assume he was a good bassist)
I guess no one is going to agree with me here. For this reason I reccomend you get lessons. I personally don't agree with you getting them, but as everyone else suggests you do, (and they are most likly do be a hell of alot more experienced than I am) I think you should get them.
