It's also full of people who are so ridiculously full of...oh nevermind...it's not worth getting banned over. You're so good looking...![]()
SX basses are great….for firewood!!
Yes maybe so but I don't want one SX so I would gladly spend the money for a VM. My favs are the CV Squires which no SX can touch IMO.
I love cheapo basses look at my second sig line . Even with cheap there are good and bad. Bad for me are Galvestons, SX, New York pro and others.
I like good Squiers older the better to mod. They can make great basses on the cheap.
reminds me of voices in my head by the police
Have you not noticed that TB is full of folks who want a Porsche for VW pricing - folks who REFUSE to believe you actually DO get what you pay for?
Well, so many of your posts are "internet tough guy" posts, it's more than likely not worth it really. I expect nothing more than "bootstrap" posts from you, and you regularly deliver. It must be awesome to be so hard-edged all the time. Or just really sad.If you have a point, feel free to make it.

For the price of 1 CV, or 2 VMs, you could have 3-4 SX. And most SX are easily on par with the VMs.
Agreed. I still enjoy mine quite a bit. Set it up to my liking out of the box and didn't have to mod a single thing. Even the strings on it were pretty decent and I didn't change them for quite some time. In fact, I find myself picking this bass up over my Fender American Standard most of the time. I've used the Andromeda for a number of gigs and it sounds absolutely killer. No regrets. The SX Andromeda series is a step up from their regular stuff. Here's the thread I did when I got one on sale a while back marked down to $169:
