But somebody's got to be making them, for a reasonable, non Custom Shop price. I love Precisions, 24 frets is my absolute minimum amount of frets, and I really love the simplicity of a nice P-bass.
So, does anybody know if there's a Precision-style bass that's joined the 21st century in that regard? Preferrably one that isn't some active junk
