Are Warwicks Any Good??

I always boast about it ..
so I will do it right now (again)

Warwick for President !!

before my warwick, I had a Ibanez Sgr 600 .. a very light bass, with a very light tone ..
this I did not know, until I went to Musik-Produktiv, THE cheapest store for buying a Warwick .. (it's a mega-store in Germany) ..
I played a FNA 4 string first .. awesome !
then, I say a custom made F.N.A Jazz (4) with a checkboard on the body .. a beauty !!
well, I asked if I could play it (becauz it wich a little much much much more expensive then a normal F.N.A. Jazzman, you could not just take it and play it) ..
I plugged in and my heart almost stopped beating ..
it was as if I was made for playing this bass !!!
have you ever been somewhere and you suddenly thought "THIS IS IT ... I FOUND MY PURPOSE !!" .. well, it was something like that :D

I played, and I played.. and in between, I asked myself how fast I could gather the money .. I was sold ..

well, this is how I got my F.N.A. Jazzman 5 .. almost..
when I played the F.N.A. I saw the Fender Jazz, so that was my next bass to try out .. it was a very nice bass !! (not a cheap mexican one) and the Fender tone was okay !! ather the Fender I played the Stingray ... wow, did I like the growl ..
but the funny thing was , altough the Fender and MM where more expensive, the F.N.A.Jazz was MY bass ... it had a very very nice growl, and you could also produce a very nice jazz-sound !! (mix Fender and MM and you will get a bit close to the F.N.A. Jazzman)

about the thick necks ..
becauz I was used to the Ibanez SGR (with a little neck), the warwick neck seemed very very thick and not so good to play ..but after a while you get used to it !! believe me !!!
and for the short fingered people .. I am one of you guys, and I play Warwick ! :D

ow ..and the 5 ??
well, becauz I like the deep sounds, and becauz I had some (it was not very expensive) bucks left, why not buying a 5 ..

some questions :
1. why have I never heard of a person who did not love the F.N.A. (jazzman)
2. why do you by a corvette standard and not a F.N.A. ?
3. why do you buy a F.N.A. if you can get a jazzman for some bucks more ? (the same tones, and more)

ow .. one thing about the F.N.A. (jazzman)
if I am right , the F.N.A. (jazzman) produces the highest output in the Warwick Family

blessed all
