I've never seen an HS in a store so I could try it, but that config always seemed like one I would really like.

BTW, I love that pickguard! :woot:
Thanks. I live in the out in the sticks so, I bought this site unseen/unplayed on Kijiji - another online buy/sell. The pickguard was a bday gift from my better half. It just showed up on ebay, odd to see this configuration of a pickguard when the H and HH models are much more common. Here's a close-up for ya.

I have a 4HH. I've noodled around on various iterations of H's, over the years, but never really wanted one. I don't play slap - ever; and the tone that the H is famous for? Not a tone I can really use. And, the other tones it can give me? I already had basses that gave me those tones, so... no H models for me. What I really wanted, since they first came out, was a 4HH. But, I'm left handed; even though they did make lefty 4H's - every so often? They didn't make a lefty 4HH, until the end of 2019. And, they were Stingray Specials. So, that's when I (finally) got mine - factory direct, to boot. And, yes; it was worth the wait, too...
