Inspiration hit me this mourning in the form of @Fat Freddy, as I just carved out this 2 sided freak-o-lantern that'll join the other porch pumpkins lighting the way for tonite's trick or treaters They all look forward to coming to our house cuz (A- it's a little creepy looking all year , +B) we only give out the good candy to the often timid little buggers

Ish. I've got a pumpkin, just need to get it out of my garden and carve it. I'll get candy to pass out, but if this year is anything like the past 14 I'll be visited by exactly no one.

Ahhh, and my Halloween hangover begins! I'm so glad I took PTO for the rest of the week

Luckily I cooked enough carne asada last night that I can make some steak and eggs for breakfast.

We passed out lots of candy to the kids before I left to go hear one of my band's guitarists other band play in the center of a roller skating rink while everybody there was costumed and skated around them. Was a great time!

Tonight we're hosting a 'no kids' costume party at our house trying to extend the season

Next year is a leap year so it goes right to a Saturday instead of a Friday
