I was reading Slash's (Saul Hudson's) autobiography today, and his first issue with Axl was that he wouldn't apologize to his (Saul's) grandmother for telling her to sod off. Axl actually dove out of Saul's vehicle at 45 mph & immediately stopped crashing on Saul's couch, just to avoid apologizing to a little old lady.
I could almost understand if it were some behemoth of a man he was fearing, but not a little old lady.
I had an incident yesterday where someone mistook something for a backhanded compliment, when it wasn't intended as such.
Instead of apologizing for the misunderstanding, insults & name-calling ensued.
I don't have time for people who can't apologize.
Some people say it's a good measure of a man, not his mistakes, but his ability to realize those mistakes and take responsibility for them.
