Right now, yes - both Fender. For many years though they weren’t. A Music Man amp and TL cab with an Electrovoice 15” kept me in business for a very long time.

Age 20(1980's) no. Sunn Concert Bass head into an Ampeg V9. Age 61(today) yes. GK Legacy into 2 Neo 112-II. My arthritic back thanks me, but I so loved the tone coming from the Sunn/Ampeg combo.
I had amps and cabs from the same manufacturer in the 60's and 70's but not since then.
Mix and match will get you the best of both worlds, like Thunderfunk and any cab, Aguilar amps and Berg Cabs and any amp with Barefaced cabs.
The permutations are endless.

I kind of view this question as akin to "Do you wear the same brand of shirt as your pants?"
They might be in the same page in the catalog and look really good together, but I've already got some pants I can wear with that shirt, so just the shirt for now please and I'll see how it works for me.

Nice mutt rig! When the time is right I've been told by many that adding the 112 extension to your nxt210 is unbelievable. I have and love the nxt210 myself and will be adding the 112 when the time is right.
I haven't had a "matching" rig in a while. Last time I had one was a few years ago when I had a complete Genzler rig(MG800/BA410/BA210). Sounded awesome, and then I came across a Bergantino Forte HP head. The Bergantino is, easily, the best amp I've ever owned. Thought about switching to Bergantino cabs, but these Genzler BA cabs are just BEASTS! They're super lightweight, and they do everything that Genzler claims they do! I really love them!
Now, I'm on a bit of a "modular" kick, so I'm back to using preamp/power amp setups. So, I've got:
-Noble Preamp
-QSC Power Amp
-Genzler BA Cabs
-Bergantino Forte HP(back up)

I mix and match. The only combo I use with matching brand is my Ampeg PF350 with 2 210av cabs. Otherwise I’m using avatar cabs now.

Since picking up the 700rb ii again, you fellas are REALLY making it hard to not want to get a matching GK 4x10. Even though the particular Hartke I have does very GK things..
Right now, I’m rolling with a Quad Cortex and in-ears when playing live. However, I have a Trickfish amp with two matching cabinets. I agree with you, whatever sounds good. I. The case of the Trickfish, I just liked both, but I bet the head would sound great with Aguilar cabs, etc.
Nope. I got them both at Guitar Center as used merchandise that I would be able to afford with the stash of gift cards that I had. Neither one is going to induce any envy, but they work and they work well enough for my purpose.
Both rigs are unmatched for me. LittleMark III and a pair of Hartke HX112s. My Walkabout head feeds an AccuGroove Tri210L. I think Mesa heads and AccuGroove cabinets are a great pairing.
I used Aguilar for a long time, but switched to a Mesa subway 800+ head. I still use two SL112's with it. Doesn't seem worth the cost to change out the speaker cabinets.
