Are your cab and amp the same brand?

I recently picked up a new Mesa WD-800 head and have been searching for a cab to go with it. I know the correct answer is to get whatever sounds best… But for now I’m just curious how many of you have mismatched brands for your amp and cabinet combo? I don’t know why but it bothers me a bit to think of getting a different brand cab (prob ocd lol), but then I also know I’m limiting myself by not exploring all tonal options. So I’m just sort of curious how prevalent it is for mismatches. Thanks!

Yup, I have a Behringer head and cab, plus two GK heads and one GK cab

Yes, it's been years since I mixed and matched... which I mostly did then because of just getting what I could get when I could get it used.
I've heard a lot of great mixed combination though.

Some. Main rigs Sunn and GK are matched sets.
Have mix n match of others.

For the most part, no, until very recently. When I still lived in Canada I had an Eden WT-800 rig with Eden cabs, which was the last time I had matching head and cabs. Since I moved to the US about 16 years ago I've used only Thunderfunk heads with a variety of cabs (Eden, Bergantino, Trickfish), and in the last few years moved to a Mesa WD800 head. Now finally have matching Mesa cabs, and it's totally worth it to have those paired with the WD800!
