This reminds me of when I was a kid and we would peer into a car window and if the speedometer said 120 mph, most kids figured that was how fast it could go LOL
(I was not a kid who believed that)

No problem getting you back home in time but unfortunately South Of The Border has been torn down.
My amp's tubes glow blue... and with a lisp they may be BLUETOOBTHThat would be orangetooth.
Well not completely torn down but the place is undergoing a huge rehab project. Some structures have been demolished and others are getting upgraded.Noooooo!!!
I haven’t traveled that way in a very long time. I was really hoping to visit the place the middle of January.
(Sorry, this was the only point of interest I found in this thread….)
Did ya buy em direct from Gwoovetoobths? My amp's tubes glow blue... and with a lisp they may be BLUETOOBTH
agedhorse is working on a design that will provide twice the power out for every watt put in. Don't tell anyone, it's a secret.People get very confused by electrical specs. In this case, it sounds like someone is confusing power output with power input, which HAS to be greater.
600 W in means < 600 W useful power out.
It's only 2 speeds, who really needs a tach for that? Use your ears.My ‘68 Firebird (350/2bbl, 2 speed) had an optional 160 mph speedometer! ..... Not sure who decided a 2 speed 350 needed a 160 speedo, but no tach...
Here is a 2022 Honda Civic instrument cluster. Note the stock 160 MPH speedometer it comes with.My ‘68 Firebird (350/2bbl, 2 speed) had an optional 160 mph speedometer!

I had a 68 Firebird with that speedo. Some had put a 400 with a tripower and 4 speed in it. 0-100MPH was fun, but beyond that seemed like a bad idea. And drum brakes…My ‘68 Firebird (350/2bbl, 2 speed) had an optional 160 mph speedometer! That was back when there were 100 different stand alone options you could put on a car when ordering. Not sure who decided a 2 speed 350 needed a 160 speedo, but no tach, but it was pretty neat. Lots of unused real estate on that speedometer!

And that's how it starts. One, Two, Four...Ten, a Hundred.... It's a conspiracy man. Pretty soon there will be 600w Markbasses all over the place. Everywhere. And now there's another guy selling a Little Marcus saying it's 600w! WTH!! I replied it's either 500w or 800w. There is no 600w Little Marcus.

Do not confuse me with the facts, my mind is made up!
600W @230V; that equates to a 88 Ohm cabinet. These cabinets are very rare.
So, what's a 100 watts between friends?Funny how they all point to the electrical label on the rear instead of reading the manual or checking the specs on the website.
By the way, the first guy finally conceded and said it was sold to him as a 600w amp.
