Aria Pro II MAB 20 5 pup question

Checking out a Red Aria Pro II MAB 20 5 string. According to some online research into the serial number shows it's a 2002 manufactured in Samick factory in S Korea, which isn't really my question. If you look at the neck pickup from the profile, with the bass laying flat, you can see it's on a slight angle.
Is this normal? Anybody have photos of theirs?

I've seen a couple photos of the same model and that pickup seems to be mounted like that from the factory. Figured I'd reply for info sharing purposes and I'll attach other photos when I can find where I put them lol
