Arrested Development Appreciation!

I only started watching this show about a month ago on Netflix, I don't watch much TV. I don't think I have seen a funnier TV show. I'm constantly laughing when I watch it.

Ever notice how the characters and even some of the plot resemble The Godfather?

Also, I remember seeing this picture that really cracked me up...
What deficit?

Yeah, I know, resurrecting a dead thread...

"I don't know what that means, and I refuse to dignify it with a response"

+1 This is really one of the great comedies of recent times, IMHO. My wife and I watched it when it was first on, I own the DVDs, and we still get a kick out of re-watching it on Netflix.

Finished watching the whole thing a few days ago.....Charlize Theron was funny and hot. Judge Reinhold was funny, Bob Loblaw was funny, the two "cousins" getting drunk on what they thought was wine and him going in head first ala pete rose was funny. When Justine Bateman was on that was funny, the whole show is funny and I like Ron Howard narrating it. The only character I had a hard time with was Will Arnetts character.

I love this show. I was in shock when it got canceled!

- "I just blue myself"

- I also loved when GOB chipped his tooth, and he's visiting the Dad in jail, and he says, "Son, there is a dentist here who took some liberties with his drugged up patients; I will have him take care of whatever is going on with you." Well...if you saw it, then you know how funny it was :D

- Also on the same "blue man" episode, there was a doctor who kept saying things that made the family think someone had died. At one point Tobias gets hit by a car or something and the doctor says "It looks like he's dead." The mother asks, "Wait, wait, wait, is he really dead or does it just 'look like' he's dead????"
"No, it just looks like he's dead; he's got blue stuff all over his body or something." :D

- "What do you expect, Mother? I'm half machine! I'm a monster!"

- Tobias O-kay, who'd like a banger in the mouth?
......Right, I forgot, here in the States, you call it a *sausage* in the mouth.
- Michael: We just call it a sausage.

Tobias: Oh, but give me an old pro like a Robert Redford. Oh, I'd jump into bed with him in a second. And I wouldn't just lie there, Michael Bluth, if that's what you're thinking.

Michael: Actually, that time, that was what I was thinking.

:D

Narrator: Tobias listens to a day's worth of his own words, to see what Michael was referring to...
Tobias: [on tape] ... even if it means me taking a chubby, I will suck it up.
Tobias: Nothing wrong with that.
Tobias: [on tape] Oh, I've been in the film business for a while, but I just can't seem to get one in the can.
Tobias: It's out of context.
Tobias: [on tape] I wouldn't mind kissing that man between the cheeks.
Narrator: ...and he realized there is something distinct about the way he speaks.
Tobias: Tobias, you blowhard.
