artec parametric EQ

I tried two of them, but they didn't work for me. While the para eq sounded really good, it could not handle my high output basses e.g. G&L 2500 and Ibanez GWB 35. The eq distorted way too easy. With a jazz bass everything worked well. I exchanged the item, but the second one reacted the same.
