I'm really excited about this amp cause I don't have any requirements for playing my amp on stage so this is really cool option for the bedroom or for practicing. I was thinking of getting a TH350 or an Orange TB500 eventually but this is giving me major GAS, and its under $500!

Been trying to find more info/vids online but couldn't, check these two out..


It's nice to see an affordable tube amp, cant wait for other companies to follow suit and release their versions of low wattage tube amps. I'm hoping this starts a trend like the Vox AC4TV did for guitar amps, and we get a mini Fender Bassman one day :hyper:

So what are your thoughts on this amp?

Could you let me know what other low wattage all tube bass amps are available at a "budget" price (budget being under $500/comparable to the other Class-D micro heads).

I find my 30 watt Laney RB2 to be too loud for my bedroom :hiding:
Most of the amps with high wattage are overkill for me, so just want to know what my options are

Fender made a Bassman 20 in 1983. You can still get it for less than 500 bucks. 18 watt hand wired 15 inch combo amp. 1371783188223.jpg

I mentioned the bassman because you hope for fender to follow suit. But there a few tube amps to be had at 500 bucks or less. Ampeg sb12, b25, b25b, v2. Fender bassman 125, 100, 70, 50, 20, 10, musicmaster, bantam bass. Traynor yba1, yba2, bassmate. Ashdown little bastard, ctm15. Gibson thor, atlas.

And I am sure there are more. He k with a little searching and patients ampeg v4, b15, fender studio bass. And remember no one loves low wattage tube amps more than me. But even larger wattage amps come with a volume knob.

Ah I didn't know that. Even 20-30 watt ss combo amps give you an ext speaker out. That's the thing I've noticed with big companies they don't like their products competing with each other, eating into each others sales I guess, so if you want to hook up your own cab I guess Fender wants you to go for the Bassman heads.

I'm kinda more interested in tube heads cause of the weight issue. Whatever I buy will most probably be shipped over from the US to India, so it'll be cheaper to ship the head vs shipping a combo amp.

Well in my case my "practice amp" is the amp that I'll end up using the most, so I would want that to be the best amp I have :D

Venues here provide you with amps/monitors/PA so there's no need to carry your own gear for gigs[apart from instruments and effects], so I don't really see the need to have an amp which will be used only for gigs.
