Ashdown CTM-30 “Little Stubby”

I would jump on the PF50T but the fact that it doesn’t have any handles and knowing tube heads being hot after say a three hour show or a one hour long set with a quick unload time (aka not enough time to get the amp to cool before packing it away).. putting my hands on a hot amp without a handle isn’t desirable.

Having gigged a PF50T since they came out, this concern is easily avoidable.

With an appropriate case, there is nothing to be worried about. The only parts that get "hot to the touch" are the actual tubes and the output transformer. Tubes being covered by cage prevent contact and the transformer is not going to burn anyone. The amp is handled by the case, exactly how all the PF series SS amps are handled.
