The tweeter keeps distorting whenever I'm playing through the cab (as I've been using quite a bit of distortion and bass synth fuzz through it) - I've had a look inside and the tweeter is wired in parallel with the speakers with no crossover. Does this mean it's a piezo tweeter with a very high impedance so I could disconnect it without signficantly altering the overall impedance of the cabinet? There's no control to turn the tweeter down, so I can't just turn it all the way off, and the distortion it's producing is getting quite annoying when playing clean through it.
