Didn’t see much info on this cab and with the 599 price on them at sweetwater, I figured a short review might be in order..
so, cab is hearty…over 100lbs, braced by dividers separating each pair of 10s. Couldn’t find efficiency or frequency response numbers from ashdown or sweetwater but dang this thing has some hearty bottom end.. way more low end than my gk neo 212. Almost too much imo. Overall though takes distortion better than the gk imo. Just sounds more natural. No stuffing in the cab minus a small bit of lining on back wall so if u want a lower f3 a little polyfill is a cheap add on to grab it and shouldn’t be hard to undue if u don’t like it.. I plan to test this in the future to maybe eke out a bit more efficiency if I need it live. Wheels roll nice. Went up my 4 stairs into the house just fine. Tweeter is ok, does add a bit of sparkle but overall I leave it off. Definitely a loud bugger when connected to my ctm100 head. Overall at 600 dollars I’d say it’s a great cabinet and a lot of sound for a weekend warrior like myself. Will be playing with full band Saturday and will have more to say about how it does in a mix
