Hope you jumped on the deal of you wanted the 30, because the CTM-30's are all gone. Six of the CTM-15's remain...
CTM-30s are showing in stock now! I was bummed yesterday and I was about to settle for a CTM-15 when I saw the 30s in stock.
Great prices! Half/almost half off on all the tube heads! Sick deals on cabs and other heads also. $55 shipping slightly cooled the deal but I've got a 30 to my door for $350 shipped.

the mi bass and pi bass amps are very cheap. Anyone heard these in person and know if they're any good? I'd like to downsize from my current pre/power amp setup.
Someone snagged one of the two ctm-300s for $1295.
Down to 4 ctm-30s there were 6 before I bought mine. They raised the price on those from $295 to $395. Glad I bought mine last night.
Still 6 ctm-15s at $249
I wonder if There is enough room inside any of the ampeg ports flex cabs to mount a ctm-30 like an old B15?

The amp has chosen you!Just to follow up...I had looked at getting the CTM-30 and actually started the checkout with Paypal. I stopped when I saw the additional $35 for shipping, though, and talked myself into using that money for something else. I put it towards a credit card.
Then this arrived today and was sitting in front of my apartment.
The invoice had a receipt attached showing this was paid, though it wasn't specific as to what was charged. I called The Bass Place and was told it was indeed a paypal charge. There's nothing on my paypal either in current or pending for this. (Which makes sense since I didn't click the "pay now" after I saw the updated total.)
The person I spoke with told me they would email me a return authorization, which they didn't get to today. Never had this happen before.
When I bought mine paypal was very glitchy. There were two places to click to pay with paypal, the first link I would click and follow the prompts only to end up signed in to paypal with nothing in my cart. The one that was towards the bottom of the page finally worked. Mine is supposed to arrive Saturday.
Got it. I'm digging it so far. Loud enough to piss off the neighbors. Gonna test it with the whole band Tuesday.
The Pibass looks to be near exactly the previous version of the Mibass but with a different aesthetic and different power rating. I have one of the previous Mibass which at least have the same front end EQ and I love it. That semi-parametric EQ section gives you a ton of shaping options and it is actually quite simple if you don't try to think about it all at once. My favorite thing about it is that it essentially allows you to tailor the EQ to your strings and cab, for maximum response.
But you can also totally go against what your strings, bass, and cab might seem to naturally want. In that sense, you can also "fix" problems like excessive mids, peaky-hard edged high mids, fret clack, etc.
I was bummed when they dropped that EQ section from the Mibass.
As far as the newer Mibass, with the more typical EQ:
I've had two Ashdown amps. I like Ashdown's tone. If I needed a new Class D amp on a budget, I would buy that without thinking.

Just FYI on those Mi-Bass 2.0's. I bought one of these from this deal as a backup to my Orange AD200B running on two OBC115s. The first one I received would cut in and out at a 4ohm load idle (it would run just fine on 8 ohms). It would still play sound if I played the bass as normal but would start cutting in and out once I stopped. This was not a problem with my Orange head or GB Shuttle and tested/verified that my cabinets were good/true on the ohm rating. The Bass Place was more than happy to send me another one.
Few days later I received the replacement. It basically did the same thing but ended up blowing the main fuse... Again, The Bass Place was more than happy to get me a refund.
So good customer service from The Bass Place, but heads up on the Mi-Bass 2.0.

I have one of the early Mi Bass amps, too. I was looking for a lightweight backup, and also something to bring on fly-away gigs. My band does a number of shows where we fly to a city and have back line provided by the venue. That can be a blessing, if it's an all tube SVT-VR. It can be a curse, if it's an underpowered beat-to-shiite head with a crummy 1x15 that's been chucked about in the back of a u-haul trailer for 40,000 miles....
The MiBass is about 8 lbs, provides plenty of power and fits in my InCase gig bag with enough room for a tuner pedal, a Phase 90, a One-Spot, a long 4" leather strap and a couple of cords. I can't cure a bad choice of cabinets, but at least now I'm sure I'll have enough power.
I haven't heard about the power section failing, but I have worked with Ashdown and they are very responsive and helpful.
Full disclosure: I believe I am still on the Ashdown endorser list, but I bought the MiBass retail on some ungodly sale like this one....
In researching this further it seems to be a problem that Ashdown is aware of and willing to fix. If mine has an issue I'll arrange to have Ashdown repair the problem.
