Ask a guy from New Jersey anything...

My friends last name is Jerz, does he hail from your state?

depends on his level of coolness.

how's the fishing going to be at Manasquan and Point Pleasant this year???

Have no idea. I've been out of Manasquan several times a while ago and did ok, but the best fishing I ever had was when we had gone out of Wildwood. The one and only time I went of PT Pleasant was many years ago and we had just had a bad storm a day or two before... 6'- 8' swells, the boat was pitching and bobbing like a cork on the water. We were out in deep water for about 2 hours when a ships mate blows by me and looches into the water. A friggen ships mate.... it all went downhill from there as it was an 8 hour trip. Screw that, NEVER again

Sooooooo can you mail me some disco fries and an Italian hot dog?

These things need to be eaten fresh. To send them afar would spoil the experience. Besides...if you dont eat your meat, you cant have any pudding, HOW can you have any pudding if you dont eat your meat!???

Doesn't matter, Kings will take it anyway ;)

Which reminds me, Relic, are there any black guys that follow hockey in Jersey? There's at least one in SoCal. Well, not really...there's at least one pretending to follow hockey in SoCal.

Relic, do black guys pretend to follow hockey in NJ?

Black guys and hockey..? I...uh...

I assume you are well experienced with diners. What, then, is your favorite diner breakfast, on a Tuesday morning at 6AM?

Cream chipped beef on toast. It's this disgusting mass of what looks like vomit but dear lord, the taste is heavenly. Weekends however, it's always 2 eggs over light with some greasy sausage and a side of extra bacon for me.

You're not overly far from Bordentown - go to Mastori's Diner on 130. Do it. Now!

I know - I've been there. Cheesy bread pastry is tasty.

One of the local diners had a "gyro omelet" - an omelet made with gyro meat. That was tasty. I have been boycotting them recently, as they skimp on the portion sizes during breakfast.

Relic,

If you had the time and resources, where (besides NJ) would you want to move to?

Ooh good question... a fantasy I've always had would be to move somewhere where there's lots of nature - Montana or something like that... grow a beard, poop in the woods, grumble about city slickers and shoot a rifle off of my back porch at bigfoot.. but in reality..? Well my kids are here in NJ, with the oldest one heading for college here, the middle one just going into HS.. I have shared custody of them with their mom (until 18) so if I moved out of state, it would impact that. But if I could work something out, I'd probably head to PA. beautiful state, lots of nature and not too far away from NJ and the ocean :)

That's about what it looks like too!

As a representative of the keystone state, we welcomes you!!!
My last time at the Point I fished the canal because I saw all the party boats were there instead of in the deep waters. Talk about some pissed anglers lol lol lol

Why move? You can do all that in the 'barrens.

This is true, but it IS NJ. I could shoot off of the back porch, but it would have to be with a >15 round mag in my semi-only, non-bayonet-lugged pinned stock Ar-15.. :hmm:
I wanna mag-dump from the waist at that biotch :hyper:

Are you going down the shore this weekend?

P.S. If you are (and coming from Philly), please stay to the left of the Walt Whitman Bridge, so I don't have to wait too long.

Isn't it funny how, no matter where you are in NJ, you're always going "down the shore"? lol
Nah, no shore for me, we went to PT Pleasant Beach for mother's day though. Try the food at Europa South, GREAT food. There's also the Wharfside, where you can sit on the deck right at the docks and watch the boats come and go.

here's my youngest son slammin back a root beer there. (like father, like son :):
