Me too. I hope Dan has something to tell us. Although I don't see how you can get any more custom than what Dan already does without straying from the Fender mold. I'm sure it will be good, though.
Yeah, the site is a bit flaky right now. It might not work 100% until tomorrow. I'm still tweaking.
The "Evoke" series will be somewhat more unique, and slightly more boutique in design. Although still affordable.

Hey Dan, i might just be missing it but it looks like theres no specs for the basses in the gallery anymore, am i just dumb or are they gone?
I'm really curious about the new Evoke. I was planning on ordering a custom J Bass towards the end of this month...already chatted w/Dan about it. Now I may wait to see what the Evoke has to offer. As long as it doesn't have a fugly headstock...I do love me some "lawsuit" headstocks...
Am hoping the Evoke is a conistently light weight, 2-band, Stingray style instrument

I've received some emails asking about the Evoke basses. They are almost ready. I decided to expand the line to 3 models. The first model is already finished, the 2nd model should be done in about 3 weeks, and the 3rd will be done in about 4-5 weeks.
I will probably go ahead and announce the Evokes once model 2 is finished (about 3 weeks).
The designs have obvious Fender roots, but slightly different. Fender does not have any basses with these pickup configurations in their current lineup.
