Double Bass ATM35 MIC QUESTIONS

Hi ,
has anyone tried the ATM35 clip on mic on an upright ? I have a couple in my studio and tried one out on DB , with pleasing results !
Do you think this type of mic would be good in a live situation ?

I've had very good results in live miked orchestra situations with it, although I don't own one myself. I clip it on to one of my bridge adjusters so I can get it really close to the top of the bass. I haven't used the ATM35 in a noisy place where feedback would be a problem, though.

My own mic is an SDSystems bass mic which I also like a lot
