Okay, seriously. I like the VT Bass, but I have needs for a programmable thing. The Programmable BDDI is expensive...


But, for the price, I could just get 2 or 3 VT basses....

Shouldn't be a surprise that a programmable VT-bass would be proportionately more expensive than a normal VT-bass as a PBDDI is to a normal Sansamp BDDI.

Either way you're going to pay the difference, but save space doing so.

Programmable BDDI is only 10 bucks more than the regular BDDI.

That appears to be true. I thought the programmable was quite a bit more. Or was the last time I noticed. Those models of Sansamps have also been out in the market for quite a while as shows in the used costs of them vs new costs.

Regardless, with the popularity of the VT-bass I'd expect the Programmable function to be noticably more money. Not double a normal, but I would not be at all surprised to see 1/3 extra.

The way the VT Bass is selling like hot cakes right now, I'll be surprised if we don't start seeing sneak-peeks of a programmable version within the next 12 months or so.

Hopefully, they'd already considered it and drawn up plans before the regular VT was even fully released. Probably wishful thinking though.
