That ESP was in my original list, but I agree with the others in that $1200 is still quite alot, when maybe i could source something like a MTD 2nd hand in the US and have it shipped, the guys at the music store will cream themselves if i took a MTD or similar in there to get set-up. That alone would be worth something
Thanks to everyone who talked me out of buying new and in australia ... it really is too expensive if your looking for something out of the ordinary. Although its good to see EA gear here, on the same price level as hartke and GK.
man im in the same boat right now, being from Australai and all looking for a awsome 6 string. But what happens if you dont particulary like the feel of a certain bass, what happens then?
Tomass: If I buy something from the US and don't like the feel of it, i'll get used to it, if i don't like the sound, i'll get used to it. But i've just finished going through about 15pages of threads in the for sale forum figuring out what i can get for my AU$1500. If shipping and duty and all that jazz comes to about $500 i can do OK, better than buying new here anyways.
