Audiogram 3 Guitar Rig Issue

Hey,

I'm having an issue with my Audiogram 3. Whenever I use it with Guitar Rig, I get the dry signal from my bass in addition to the processed siginal of the bass through Guitar Rig. The same thing happens when I use my guitar.

The Audiogram 3 is just a basic USB recorder interface, like the Fast Track, so any feed back relating to that product or any other USB recording interfaces regarding a problem like this would be equally appreciated.

Does it happen when you playback a recorded line? If it doesn't, then you've got software monitoring turned on in the Audiogram control panel. I have no idea how to find that, because I've never used that particular interface, but you SHOULD have a taskbar icon for either the Audiogram or Windows Volume Control. You simply have to find the faders/controls for the inputs within that control panel and mute them. Don't worry, any software you use will still be able to receive input and monitor them - it's just turning of Windows monitoring them for you.

Windows does not give me the option of adjusting the input of the Audiogram. The device itself only has a level control for an instrument/mic or balanced audio and an output level.

So, does it happen on playback of recorded lines or not? That's very important to figuring out how to fix this.

I trust you've already gone into Control Panel > Sounds and Audio Devices and set the Audiogram as your default device for everything except soft synth purposes (that should stay as Microsoft GS Wave Table).

Are you plugging in your monitoring system (ie: speakers or headphones) into the Line Outs or the Headphone Out? I've been scouring the interwebs a bit, and it seems that the Headphone Out has direct monitoring from the inputs whether you like it or not. Try the Line Outs, see if that fixes the problem.

I haven't tried to record using the device yet.
