That sounded really nice. I used to play with a guy who also played a horn and keys at the same time. Those guys baffle me with that much talent.
That's Al Jankowski, he's amazing! And he says guitar is his number one instrument.... In fact he got a job as the house guitar player with Hee Haw when he was 17, opened each show and played all the interstitial parts during the shows. Just added a few more clips from that same gig

I would be careful when trying to test the limits with more wattage. With a lot of these newer drivers, you won't hear them fart out, they just go thermal and melt when stressed too hard (learned that one the hard way). That being said, I'm still jonesing for a 1855.
I ordered an H1203 last week for "small" gigs and I'm now thinking I want the 1855 also, and I'll need to get something bigger than the MB200. Maybe the new Peavey Minimega or a GK MB800, something like that. Even MB500 might do it. Where will I use it? Why in the old folks home of course! 
Oh, I'm done with that testing. I pushed my QSC as hard as it'll go, and the QSC was clipping. I'm not going to go buy a new power amp just to push the TC118 further, especially since with my current setup, it's way louder than anything I'll ever need.

H1203 will handle some pretty good size gigs. I played a medium-size venue (~1000ppl) with one on friday. Two drummers. I use mine with a Prolite 2.0 DSP.

I think you will be amazed at what a single H1203 can do, especially if you give it a full 500w into 8 ohms.
Now that will be amazing for a cabinet that weighs in the mid-30's. Can't wait to try it Duke!
@DukeLeJeune can you comment on how the top end compares between the single 5" in the 1505 and the 3" in the 1203? Both in terms of character/response, and extension/volume?
I love my 1203 with both switches up, but the perceived treble response with the mid-switch down (smoother) is nice. I'm wondering if the 1505, or some combination of 1505+1203 will get me that perceived increase to the treble response while allowing me to have the aggressive mids at the same time.
Or perhaps some careful EQing going into the cab is what is required to get the right treble/mid balance.

It's pretty ridiculous how well a single cab will cover a gig.

Nice review, David. Living in NYC as I do, a pair of these would undoubtedly be just about the most ideal rig ever. So I sent in my deposit a couple of weeks ago.
That said, I'm stubborn. For the longest time, I didn't want to give up my full-size 1x12 cabs (currently a pair of Mesa Powerhouse PH112s - which are wonderful, by the way). But when it's time to gig, they're not so wonderful. The thought of schlepping a pair of these H1203s on a compact dolly, along with a micro amp head, a small pedalboard and a bass into the trunk of a taxi, with minimal fuss and hassle is just too good an option to pass up. Shoulda done this a long time ago.

That's a decision I'm sure you won't regret. I am so totally satisfied with the tone of the 1203 stack, but when you take into consideration the ease of moving these cabs to any gigging situation, it's just icing on the cake.
Plus, I could probably do 80% of my gigs with one, but two is just twice the fun! They are so easy to load in/out.
You are going to love the cabs. It's probably going to be a shock until you get used to them. So much volume and tone out of such small cabs. They are versatile, and have a great musical tone.
What head are you planning to use with them?
At the moment, it's a GK MB800, though I'm going to pick up an MB800 Fusion as well, in order to have a back-up, and for a little different tonal flavor. Longer-term, I'd love to add several more Class D amp heads, i.e. perhaps the Peavey Mini-Mega, a Bugera Veyron, and/or the Genzler Magellan. Maybe even something boutique, say next year, such as a Demeter VTBP-M-800D, or an EBS Reidmar 750.
I should add that I've recently decided to go all in with AudioKinesis - to also include a pair of Duke's new v3 TC112s. I actually owned a v1 TC112, which I flipped in order to prepare to get two 8-ohm TC112s. So I already have a good sense of the quality of Duke's craftsmanship, from personal experience. I'm thinking the MB800 would go very nicely with the Thunderchildren...and the MB800 Fusion would be the way to go with the Hathors.
