come on, cornell is never going to sound like he used to, THE DUDE IS OLDER NOW! it's as simple as that. most powerful rock singers lose some vocal ability over time. think plant and daltrey as 2 of the biggest. in addition there is ozzy, roger waters, and david gilmour. they don't have the range anymore. oh well. i'm certaintly not meaning to slag any of these guys as zep and the who in particular are my 2 all time favs. but they sound different, it's all part of aging. no way around it.

i totally dig cornell's solo record too.

Very True, But, I saw Heart a couple months back and Anns voice is still very powerful:)

Seen Angelo Moore of Fishbone, twice this year, the man has been rocking out for twenty years now, he lives for his live shows, his voice is still extraordinarily powerful, he was still being heard with his mic an arms length away at times haha!
