Double Bass Audix D4

hi Guys,

I wanted to know if someone has already tried this mic in any situations (live, recording...) i have heard very good feedbacks about it, and the price is'nt so expensive.

I tired the D2 in live. It's a very good mic for the price, pretty good gain before feedback and isolation. You can get nice sound with it, but I don't recommend for recording. For recording i would go with a good condenser.

I used the D2 for a while and really liked it at first. The size makes it very easy to use especially with the h-clamp. Then I really started to notice the lack for high end. That "air". The mic is marketed for congas or toms. I think a vocal mic like a beta 57 or SM58 works better at the same price point.
