Austin Basses?

These showed up on theperfectbass.com for dirt cheap. Does anyone know anything about them? They look nice, cept for the headstock.

i had one a long time ago as my first bass. I liked it alot, solid wood. The electronics needed rewiring a few times, but that's no big deal.

though "They are built with attention to detail and premium components so they sound great " is probably a bit of an overstatement.
