BTW I've been to Riga.. It's a nice city!
That bass is really a beautiful one! But IMO almost all of the basses he has made are more or les beautiful!

Yes all basses are nice... Especially for that price, and they are european hand made...
Still can't believe it ...
Just got a quote off Ales for a well-spec'ed 5-string... 850 - that's less than £600! I'm after a bass to attempt to get a Musicman Sabre-type tone (twin MM pickups), and one of his could well be the ticket...
With air fares to Prague being what they are at the moment, it'd also be cheaper to go there and collect the bass than to get it shipped!

If anyone decides to have a go and order an AV bass, PLEASE keep us all updated.
Although I have no reason to be suspicious about this thing, the prices seem too good to be true. And whenever anything sounds too good to be true, I´ll get cautious. I´m 99% certain it´s all well and good, but I would like to have that 1% cleared... And if Ales happens to read this, I hope he doesn´t get offended. It´s the ´net, you know?

I'm sure that Ales is doing great job with his basses... I mean he's done this bass in cooperation with Joey G Music New York (which seems to be quite a nice shop Sells basses like Aries!): Invalid Link Removed
