Avatar Owners Club Pt. 2

just got my Avatar Ceramic B212 in the mail yesterday. I really like the tone of it. Very nice mix with my Eden 410T. Id like to see how either another matching B212 sounds, or a B410 sounds with it in a full on Avatar rig.
I've used nothing but avatar for about 4 years now. Started out with a 2x12 for guitar, then got a 2x10 for bass. Then got a 1x12 with green tolex for bass. Sold off all 3 and then got a 2x12" with green tolex for bass, then about a year ago got a 4x10 with black grill cloth and green tolex and used it stacked with the 2x12.... but it was a bit too much so now I sold the 2x12, and now my current rig is my Line 6 HD400 into the avatar 4x10!

I hope quoting myself is ok.
Just got an email back from Dave, and he said this:
-4 ohm cabs are four 16 ohm speakers wired in parallel
-8 ohm cabs are four 8 ohms speakers wired in series parallel

That vertical stack of 210s looks great! Congrats on the gig, as well.

I also use a vertical two Avatar 2-10 stack and love it. It's much better for hearing yourself on stage, without having to stand in one spot.
Hey, BillyB, here are my current Ampeg B2R settings, but it's possible they may change next week after I stack the cabs vertically.
(I don't know how to make photo attachments bigger than thumbnails, but noted that if you click on the photo, it'll get bigger, and then you can actually see the settings.)

Yes, ERIC31, that is indeed my Hartke 410 cab peeking out (good eye!). I like it a lot, except for the weight . . . hence, the new Avatar Neos . . . which I think I like even better . . . besides, they're so wonderfully green!
And, dukeisdog, you can't tell from the glare in the photo, but Leo (my awesome Fender Mustang), has the white pearl pick guard.

I enjoy my green too!!! pretty much the same cab setup, but using a 4x10 instead of 2 2x10s

I agree, the green tolex looks really sharp! I switched from Hartke for exactly the same reason... had the Pro4200, it was 127lbs!!!
I picked up an Avatar 2x10 (in blonde) to give both the company and neo drivers a try, and liked it so much I ordered a 2x12 not even a couple weeks later. But like you, the idea of vertically stacking a pair of 2x10s is something I'd really like to try... I've been tempted to pick up another 2x10 for a while now.

So what is the frequency range on the SB112 ELF? The website says "Eminence now makes custom LF versions of their Neo deltalite2 12 inch Neo just for Avatar so our new SB112 goes even lower in frequency response than the previous Neo 12's. The new custom Neo 12 LF's have a longer cone travel (Xmax) than the stock Eminence model. (just like we did with the deltalite tens for our highly rated B210/B410 models)Super Low End!"
I play 5-string basses exclusively and need that tight but punchy low end so hopefully someone will chime in. Also, anyone paired this cab with an Eden 210XLT?
