My guess is that the 10" speakers push highs and high mids and the 12" speakers crush the low end. I'm definitely thinking this may be the route to go. Has anybody mixed and matched colors? I thought it'd be a neat idea hahaha.

Speaker cone size has nothing to really do with frequency ranges, unless we are talking about 6" or other tiny cones. Check the specs for the cabinets.

Kappa Pro are very heavy and powerful 10" speakers with ferrite cores, I put a set of Kappa Pro 10s in my Super Redhead combo, gave me 1000WRMS and a wonderful throaty sound and added 10lbs to the combo.

The Neos use neodynimium cores and are much lighter than ferrite cores. They have a slight presence in uppermidrange, but nothing you can't EQ out. They do not handle as much power. I have a SB112 with ferrite (Delta LF) and a B212 Neo, they are both about the same weight, both are 500WRMS.

i recently updated my gig rig from an acoustic set up to an ampeg svt 7pro powering an avatar T153, 1X15 1X6"mid and horn and a 2X10 cab with horn. ordered them in line X and metal grill, love that look... have already knock one over, you would never know by looking at it, love the Line X....you wanna talk about rumbling the walls... i will never need anything more than this, very happy with the cabs and very happy with the customer service, Dave rocks!!!!!!!
i would love to post pics of my rigs, and axe's but i don't know how to , any suggestions please let me know.....

I assume you're trying to post some pics. The URL it's asking for (for the method you are trying to use) would be generated via any of the popular image hosting sites, Webshots being the one that I use. So, you would upload your pics there and once hosted there then there would be a link that you would copy and paste into that box so that they would show up here. Harder to explain that actually do.

I'm loving my avatar 410 blonde Rolex with oxblood grill.. I did have a minor rattling issue but found out it was the plywood pieces that are screwed in the back of the grill to help hold it in place. I took those out and it stopped, sounds fantasitic and loud! One day will add another cab with it!

What amp are you using, and how loud are they, can they be deafening loud for a 20x20 room? thx in advance trying to decide between 2x 2x10s or 2x 112s

I want a modular rig, my 4x10 is too big for my new car, I dont want to mess up my car or my 4x10

I am assuming you mean me lol...

Im hooked up through a genz benz shuttle 9.0 and they are very loud. I run the tweeter at 1/3 on the top one in the stack and all the way down on the bottom one.

I practice in a room that is about 18' x 30' and its booming.
