Hey I have those as well. Next time you use them try them stacked vertical. Oh man what a difference.

Quite. My guitarist made me put em like this because I was too loud. :D :bassist:
I guess I can let em loose that way for the outside gigs.

Great looking rig, hey.

I can't quite make out the amp? What is it?
I apologize for my crap camera/camera skills. :ninja: It's a Yamaha BBT500. Neat little head that puts out 500 watts into 2 ohms. Only 11 pounds too.

Gigantic pic of it here (though mine has the actual sound type under the sound type knob, not numbers):

Can anyone tell from the pics if this is a neo or a delta 210? I've got the chance to buy it for $175 to add to my new Avatar 212 (without Rugaar's bling but with the same V4b which is also sexy). I imagine this would be a good deal whether Neo or delta. I've read around TB for help but I'm hoping someone can identify it, since the seller doesn't know. I've asked him to pop open the panel and send a pic of the magnet size. Thanks,

I recently got an Avatar neo 112 from the fine folks at Avatar. I like the cabinet and I am getting some great sound from my EA iAmp 500 with the Avatar, however I do not know for sure how the tweeter control knob works, and I cannot tell any difference with my ear (I have significant high frequency hearing loss!)
Can anyone enlighten me? I would just prefer to turn the tweets off!

I've never opened my neo cabs so I couldn't rightly say for sure but those magnets look small so I'd venture to guess "yes". I'm sure someone will come by with a positive I.D. What I don't get is that Knight Rider looking killswitch on the rear plate (tweeter disable perhaps?).

Welcome!

On the tweeter control, it's generally recommended due to the design of the cab/electronics to run the tweeter at a very low setting rather than 'off' as it could damage the circuit from heat build up.

Some people run theirs off with no reported problems, so they say. I run my tweet control at about 8 or 9 o'clock and it sounds great to me.

IN for the membership!

I just got a 4 ohm 410 and was wondering if I should go ahead and jump onto the LMII bandwagon (or shuttle?)
currently using ashwdown 500 RC EVOII

any recommendation's appreciated! :)

cheers
