Awesome Budget Headphones for Practice

Just wanted to share an awesome budget headphone I found for practice that only cost $30 bucks.

I had some Sony cans, but they sounded pretty thin and was not enjoying practice as much. I was looking for basically a practice headphone only, and the only thing that really mattered to me was how much bass they could produce. I was going to drop $130 on the ATH-M50's, but I found these and took a chance on them, and I am glad I did.

They may not have the "soundstage" of more expensive cans, but they can definitely hang and sound DAMN good for practice, with great punch. Bass down to 10 hertz with 50mm drivers for $30. It really brought practice alive for me and really having a lot more fun playing.

If you want a good practice headphone that has excellent bass and can get loud on the cheap, take a shot on these.

EDIT: For those wondering, they are Panasonic RP-HTF600.

Yeah, they fit over my ear just fine. The cup material is pleather, and I can see it getting a little uncomfortable if you wear them for extended periods of time, but they fit and feel fine. Assiming everything stays fine with them, I may order velour pads that Beyer Dynamic makes (see in the review below).

I did see some positive stuff about these. What I really liked about them was the cord plugs into the headphone it'self, so if it gets snagged, it will just come right out. OTOH, sometimes those plugs wear down and you get a spotty connection in and out. I'm generally pretty careful with my equipment, so It doesn't really bother me.

As far as practice goes, with the bass down to 10hz and a high sensitivity, I thought these were be very good for practice and I'm very happy. The Mono's seemed to be more even across all frequencies from the reviews I read.
