For me! It keeps me thinking. I always! have to count. If you ask me right now "Whats the 5th of F# maj?" I would have to count it out in my head to know. I couldnt answer immediately. That makes me slow and if it happened in a live improv I'd be looking goofy! So the randomizing of the notes is allowing me to learn note and number in any sequence. So now I can say "the 5th of F# maj is C#" Again this is now from memory.. So I hope my homework is right lol.

You forgot to mention that I used the ransoms app to a metronome at over 100BPMs.
