Yeah, I would say that they are quite different, soundwise. Also I didn't say "Streamers are bad", actually I liked them in the past very much but prefer the sound/tone of the Stingray bass As a matter of fact, I had 4 MIG Streamers ('02 LX6, '97 LX4, '90 Stage One 4, '02 std 5), two Thumbs ('02 NT6 and BO4), '96 Corvette Pro Line 5 and a '98 Fortress One 4 (the active version). Playd them frequently from the late '90s untill mid '10s when I sold the last one at the time (the '02 Stramer LX6, pic below) to some guy from upstate NY in a jazz club in Greenwich Village that don't exist anymore. Couple of years later that guy sold the LX6 to some guy in San Francisco who coincidentally found me on some internet forum telling me that he loved the neck shape of the LX6 so much that he sent the bass together with his $7000 custom shop Stage One 6 to some local luthier to reshape the CS neck to the LX6's shape.

That said, probably I totally missed the point of this thread so compared the sreamer bass in the OP with the stingray, like how close that bass is to a stingray (and after a
few bottles of beer

)
Cheers!
