+1 to Old Spice. I use their deodorant and after-shave.

The biggest compliment I've received was after an 8hr shift during a busy day. I had just gotten to a friend's apartment to hang out and as soon as I got done changing she said "How can you smell so good after being at work?" That was one of the biggest testaments to Old Spice for me.

For me it's either Nautica Blue or Hugo Boss XY, usually with Irish Spring body wash.

I've never smelled marijuana so I can't comment on that. But it doesn't smell nice.

It's sad that these days Lynx have got so manny crappy fragrances out whereas back in the Africa/Atlantis/Inca/Voodoo/Apollo are long gone.

You can still get Voodoo and Africa. I do miss Inca though, that was the best.

Is it just me, or do the people who wear this stuff seem to saturate themselves in it (my room mate, especially)? It's not enough that even a small amount is far too potent, but they have to gas the entire room with it.

There was once a kid who went to my private high school who wore so much axe, the smell of it arrived first. You could tell when he walked into a building. I'm not kidding. I was gassed in the face with the stuff, and the little 8th grader who did it almost wet his pants when I chased him him down and told him I would insert the nozzle of the can into his nasal passages and then ignite the spray.

This cologne used to be cheap crap, the Axe of my generation. But now it's a vintage cologne and there's a percentage of people that just fall for the allure of vintage....

Yeah, the lines vary from country to country. Africa is still available here (it has been the biggest seller in the Lynx range since 1995) and Voodoo was released for a limited period recently...but Inca was always the best!
