AZ gtg anyone?

Looks like I will have my Ashdown MAG414 (4 ohm 410) with me after all, as I am unexpectedly as of today playing at church that morning and will have to come straight from there. Which means I'll probably have my buddy bring his GB Shuttle 6.0 to hook up to his TC RS210 cab (man, what a sweet little rig that is).

Duke, sorry to hear about your family loss. My thoughts.

I was looking forward to seeing some more of your cabs, Eric had some good things to say about the one him and Ryan were testing out.

Eric, I say bring everything you have in your living room, hahaha...

I fired up my SVT and classic 400 today and they are ready to go.
RPSands hexavalve is done. Putting out 300 watts clean with the line held @ 120 volts.

My SVT is doing 360, my classic 400 did right around 400!!!

Just got to check out the Buster and make sure it is good to go.

Now, if they will fit in the truck???

Thank you all very much. And I only know you guys through this site, many of you only through this thread. Thank you.

Timv, I shipped that cab back to Eric today after modifying it a bit to improve the definition in the low end. He should receive it on Friday. His feedback, as well as Ryan's, has been extremely valuable to me.

No worries anderbass, such is life :)

We are going to be a bunch of bass players, with gear, BBQ, and beer, and a place to be loud about it. Kind of a win on all fronts to me.

Cool, thanks man. Sorry I've been going through some chit lately and havent been my normal boring self ;)

Yup, me too, pretty much ready to be out-matched playing wise.
But with enough bbq and beer, I think I could cope. :D
I may be coming after all...

wraub

Yeah I hear ya, me too. I dont consider myself all that talented of a bass player either. But the cool thing is, we're prolly our own worst critics, and we're both probably better than we think!

Anderbass, sorry to hear that........ I was hoping for an all out jam with more ppl. than just the usual suspects I'm bringing. LOL. Our Sax player might be coming up with us as well. He is also a bass player from back in the day. I would urge you to re-consider bringing your bandmates and bringing at least a "fridge" and a couple of other tube amps if you don't mind. Some of us have not had the experience of playing through a vintage tube amp before. It will certainly be a treat for those who have not. If you don't, I understand.

I'm really looking forward to meeting all of you and sharing some good times.

Anderbass bring your buddies, jamming is still cool. I am bringing a guitar buddy. and in this case bass jams are going to happen.

I am bringing my Wenge Neck Nordy, Just sold the white one, Pino signature P and my 93 stingray. My singlecut is still on the bench...I may have a chance to grab a few fenders...deluxe us 5'er anything else people want me to bring I will try. If it's in house I will bring it.

Cool thanks for the encouragement from both of you! I'll try to bring a fairly reasonable amount of my amps/cabs, and not hog too much space.

Hopefully I'll have several of my guitarist & drummers stopping by throughout the afternoon for some short performances.

I was looking forward to seeing some more of your cabs, Eric had some good things to say about the one him and Ryan were testing out.

Eric, I say bring everything you have in your living room, hahaha...

Cool, I'll bring-em!

I'm not sure the Ice houses foundation could handle the crushing weight. Besides that, moving my Hammond C3 makes one-hand toting my Peavey Classic 400 seem like walk in the park... ;)

All,

I apologize, I have to bail on Sunday. It would have been nice to meet everyone. I had gotten back from overseas last weekend (after almost 3 months) then went to San Francisco earlier this week for a few meetings. On Wednesday I learned I need to be on the east coast next week and will be flying out Sunday. I tried to get things changed so I could make the Sunday GTG but could not get all the balls flying in the air to do so.

DANGET! ill have to sign up for the next one.

maybe the next one will be a show and tell your amps so I dont feel bad bringing out huge folded horns and old dusty amps :D

Sorry you cant make it, but I think today's GTG is a show and tell your amps kinda thing.

While I'm not bringing all my old dusty amps & cabs, I'm planning on loading up as many as my little truck will hold ;)
