B&C Speakers-- might upgrade shuttle 12 advice

And I never before noticed that they are in a human readable format. Would you mind terribly if I add the data from your files to my open source speaker design program? Of course I will give credit.

A lot of them still need Le added. I was doing quick entry on a lot of files and didn't need Le at the time.

greenboy, I don't have any of that data. So far, while I have taken an interest in exploring the theory and building some simple DIY cabs, I haven't gone the whole nine yards of modeling a multi way system.

However I will do some looking because I think there are some open source programs out there which will take a graph and help you turn it into data points -- useful for getting info out of old journal articles, but also presumably handy for speaker design.

Yeah, I've used AutoTrace too. I've had better results on FR than impedance so far. The better the graph resolution/size, the better the results of course.

Could you simply model the impedance curve? (Famous last words) How can the measured curve depart from the basic electromechanical model? Does it have to do with what happens to the effective cone mass at higher frequencies? One might have some success with measured FR data and modeled impedance data.
 
I just purchased a used ampeg bse-15t bass cabinet without a woofer and tweeter. I put in a B&C 15"woofer and am amazed with the low end, crispness and punch power. Next I'll install a tweeter (hope that it will work as well. I'm not sure if B&C woofers are comporable to this cab, but it sure sounds good. This cab has three 3" round ports and it's a masive amount of air that comes out of them (I hope I'm not putting too much pressure on this woofer. Hope this helps.
