b600h clip light comes on when using distortion pedal.

When I play with my distortion pedal through my acoustic b600h/ hartke vx 215 stack, my clip light comes on and pretty much stays on while I play (I just got an acoustic 810, though I haven't tried the distortion pedal on that stack yet). Does this mean that the pedal may be damaging my speakers? With the distortion off it only comes on periodically.

That means the output level from your pedal is set too high for your amp.

Nope, it's fine. Distortion IS clipping, and it tends to be used at a louder volume that will clip the preamp, and the clip light doesn't indicate speaker damage anyway.
