Bacchus owners club

I just purchased a sunburst WJB5-580/R off Reverb and am waiting for it to arrive. It has the 5 knob preamp in it. I have no experience with this particular preamp, so hoping it's OK. I've had two Bacchus basses before, sold them on a whim and instantly regretted doing it, so I have no qualms about quality, just this particular preamp I know nothing about.

This is my Bacchus BJB-98 Glay Jiro signature.
Very well crafted and sounding bass. The stock master volume/tone knob I have modified to Series/parallel switch/tone knob - very impressed how it sounds now.

Few mod on my BJB1RSM.

Gold anodized pickguard from Aliexpress (Anodized Pickguard Custom), not direct fit, need some edge trim on neck pocket area and area join to control plate , few pickguard screw holes alignment tweak, extent the truss rod hole.

Control plate and wizard hat amp knobs are bought online via tokopedia.com (indonesia ebay) many years ago. Musiclily Pro CTS 250K pot. No capacitor loaded. Only 2 volume knob configuration.

Without tone pot, the bass tone became little direct and lively !

The Ernieball cobalt flat 2814 still sound healthy on the bass , E string still sing solid over 2 years. (take out from previous Cort GB74JJ)

The body blue colour also start turning to green gradually.
