Bacchus, Show 'em if you've got 'em!

Probably going to be a short thread, but I know there's a few of them out there. Any others in the U.S.?

If you look at the headstock it says 'Universe series' rather then 'Begining of the new tradition(sic)' and the rear of the headstock seems to have a serial number rather than the handmade logo. A friend of mine said they make the cheaper models in Korea. I will find out more from him about this.

They look superb value though...

Hey y'all.

I've seen these basses around and go for real cheap. What's the deal, are they comparable to an American Fender or Japanese or what?

Cheers

I purchased mine a few years back, and it is more than comparable to Fender, Sadowsky, or any high-end jazz bass copy you can name. I am convinced that for the money, you cannot find a better bass.

The basses that are currently listed on ebay are the Universe series, of which I am not familiar with, but I have only heard good things about them, and I'm sure anybody who plunks down the cash will not be disappointed.
