Request Back In The USSR by The Beatles

Hey everyone,

My first post on TB, this seems like a good place for this question. This video of Paul Wolfe demonstrating how to play USSR by Sir Paul, the verse playing @2:23 seems like a lot of notes...


Normally, I take his lessons like reading the original score, I just want to know what ya'll think.

Ok I think I worked it out, using open strings instead, and fingerstyle(of course):

D--7-7-5-5------------0-0-0-0-----7-----0---------------5-------0-0-0-0--------------0-

Seems to be a little easier for me.

Working on this now. I cannot comment as to the accuracy of that video because I can barely pick out the bass in the original recording but the one transcription I found seems off on a few things.

I can barely pick out the bass in the original recording but the one transcription I found seems off on a few things.

These isolated tracks have been posted on YouTube since this thread was begun.
Somewhat chaotic, and very rock and roll.
Isolated bass starts at 2:40.
