Back to Balanced Nickels on the Cat bass

The four month fling with white short scale DR Neons concluded today. Installed new Balanced Nickels, and am home again. This marks my third set of BNs on this bass in four years. Lasts long, sounds good, feels good = WIN

My usual shoddy install job


I really do enjoy breaking in new strings. These BNs sound and feel great right out of the pack. Loosed the truss rod a bit, too. Suspect the DR Neons are much greater pulling tension.
