Anybody else out there waiting on the new version of the Backbeat? I ordered one on December 2nd 2022 and still waiting! Last word was from January 2023, that projected shipping in late February, nothing since!!!!

I asked for an update via email on Friday - got this:
“We're waiting on final components to arrive to finish final assembly, our enclosures had some defects the manufacturer had to correct. We'll probably be pushing into April for shipments.”
Been a tough road for them with supply chain issues etc - my current version is still going strong, but I’m looking forward (patiently) to when the G2 comes out!

After receiving the same "we're gonna ship this to you asap, and this time we really mean it" email every month for the last three months, I canceled my order today for the G2 Backbeat. They refunded immediately, so there's that. Wish it would have worked out, seems like a good idea.
I received a reply about a week ago. They said they were in the middle of assembling the next batch of preorders and it would be another week or two before they got to mine. A previous update said they hoped to have all preorders shipped by end of May. I guess we’ll see.
